So it’s time to move on to creating the Lightroom Catalog for the files we are going to be using in this tutorial series.
While we will be using my workflow preferences in regards to the file organization, feel free to customize this workflow to suite your needs.
I would however strongly recommend that you create a new folder and Lightroom catalog for each of your different shoots. For example, if I just got back from a fashion shoot, I would create a folder called, “Date – Fashion Shoot.” Then my catalog file and images would go into that specific folder.
This will ensure that if you are transferring or copying the Fashion Shoot folder to any other location, it will take along with it the images and catalog file.
